Skirting the whole rig?

A sealed fifth-wheel front with EZ Snap skirting and hitch enclosure in winter

01 The Enclosure

The one gap a skirt leaves open.

A fifth-wheel's raised front overhang leaves an open section around the hitch and pin box — the part a standard skirt can't wrap. The Hitch Enclosure Kit is a presewn 71″ panel with a zipper door made to close exactly that area, so the whole front of your rig is sealed against the cold.

The zipper door means you keep full access to your hitch. It snaps on with the same 3M™ VHB studs as our skirting, connects to the skirt with the included 10 ft of connector fabric, and comes off just as easily for travel.

Fifth-wheel only. The enclosure closes the open front section that's unique to a fifth-wheel — it isn't for travel trailers or motorhomes. Not sure? Talk to a Pro →

EZ Snap Cap & Pin cross-section — the stud bonds to the RV wall with 3M™ VHB, the pin passes through the fabric, and the cap locks without penetrating the surface
02How It Snaps On
01

Prep & stick

Clean the surface and press on the 3M™ VHB studs — about 60 seconds each. No drilling, no holes in your rig.

02

Snap on the panel

Snap the presewn 71″ enclosure onto the studs across the open hitch area, and join it to your skirt with the 10 ft of connector fabric.

03

Zip & go

The zipper door keeps your hitch accessible all season. Come spring, unsnap it, roll it up, and store it away.

04FAQ

What does the Hitch Enclosure Kit close off?

The open front area under your fifth-wheel's overhang — the space around the hitch and pin box that a standard skirt leaves exposed. The presewn 71″ panel with a zipper door seals that front section so cold air stays out and you can still get to your hitch.

Will it fit my RV?

It's designed for fifth-wheel RVs — the enclosure closes the open hitch area that's unique to a fifth-wheel's raised front overhang. It's not for travel trailers or motorhomes, which don't have that open front section. Not sure your rig qualifies? Talk to an EZ Snap Pro before you buy.

What comes in the kit?

The presewn 71″ zipper-door panel, 100 color-matched snaps, a Gecko Velcro™ 10 ft strip, 10 ft of connector fabric, and instructions. It installs with the same no-drill 3M™ VHB snap system as our RV skirting — no holes in your rig.

Can I take it off for travel?

Yes. It uses the same patented no-drill snap system as our skirting — the studs stay on your RV and the panel snaps off and back on. Roll it up and store it between trips, then snap it back on next season.
