What are exterior window shades?
Exterior window shades mount on the outside of the window, so they stop the sun's heat before it passes through the glass. EZ Snap® Thermo Weave is a woven solar mesh that blocks up to 90% of solar heat — and the U.S. Department of Energy rates exterior shading the most effective way to cut solar heat gain.
Will they damage my windows, siding or RV?
No. The EZ Snap studs bond to the frame with 3M™ VHB adhesive — no drilling into glass, siding, fiberglass or aluminum, and nothing that voids a window warranty.
Black or white mesh?
Black blocks up to ~90% of solar heat and is best for hot, sunny exposures. White is a more open weave — more daylight and outward view, with less heat blocked.
What sizes are there, and how are they priced?
