01 The material

Thermo Weave™ solar-screen mesh

The same Thermo Weave™ screen that shades RVs and boats — here on the outside of your home’s glass, on the hot west- and south-facing rooms where the summer load is worst. Architectural sizes, cut to fit with scissors — about 30–60 minutes per window, at your own pace.

The weave

Black / white

Black blocks the most solar heat — best for hot climates. White is a more open weave: more daylight and outward view. Same fabric, your call.

See-through

Optical-grade

A solar screen, not a blackout blind — you keep the outward view and daytime privacy while the room cools and the glare drops.

Cut to fit

Won't fray

Trims to any window with household scissors — no hemming, no binding. It won't stretch or fray at the cut edge.

Care

Weatherproof

Rinse it clean with a garden hose; leave it up year-round, or snap it off and roll it away for the season.

02What it saves

Stop the heat at the glass — and the cooling load with it.

Windows are where a home gains its summer heat — that’s where the biggest cooling load builds. Shade the glass on the outside and the system spends the afternoon chasing far less of it.

03The no-drill snap
A real EZ Snap install — the no-drill snap studs bonded around a window before the shade goes on
EZ Snap Cap & Pin cross-section — the stud bonds with 3M VHB, the pin passes through the mesh, and the domed cap locks it on without piercing the surface

Snaps on, snaps off.
No drilling, ever.

01 The bond

The 3M™ VHB studs bond to the frame around the opening — never the glass — so there's no seal to damage and nothing drilled. The same adhesive grips vinyl, aluminum, fiberglass, glass, and plastic.

02 Snaps off

The Cap & Pin™ snaps the mesh on and off in seconds — take it down for winter light, cleaning, or travel, then snap it back. The low-profile studs stay put between seasons.

04Why Home owners choose it

Shade the glass from the outside — where it actually works.

Heat stopped before the glass
01
Heat stopped before the glass

The U.S. Department of Energy rates exterior shading the most effective way to cut solar heat gain — the heat never reaches the pane. Black mesh blocks up to 90%. Interior blinds and tint only act after it’s already inside.

No drilling into siding

The 3M™ VHB studs bond to the window frame or trim, not through your siding — so nothing is drilled and no window or siding warranty is voided. Snaps off cleanly when you want it gone.

06FAQ

Will it void my window warranty?

No. The studs bond to the frame or surrounding trim with 3M™ VHB — not to the glass and not through the siding — so there’s no drilling and nothing that voids a window or siding warranty.

Can I still see out?

Yes. It’s a solar-screen mesh, so you keep a clear outward view and daytime privacy from the street — you’re just cutting the heat and glare, not blacking out the window.

How does it attach to the house?

The adhesive studs stick to the window frame or trim; the mesh snaps on and off. No drilling, no fasteners into the wall. Plan roughly 30–60 minutes per window, at your own pace — cut to fit with scissors.

Can I take it down in winter?

Yes — unsnap the mesh to let the winter sun back in; the studs stay put for next summer, or peel off if you’d rather.
