Covered for the life of the product.
There is no proration and no coverage clock. Our Limited Lifetime materials warranty backs the shade mesh, skirting fabric, and fasteners against defects and material failure under normal use, for as long as you own your EZ Snap system. Here is exactly what that includes, and the few things it doesn't.
Shade mesh & skirting fabric
Optical Grade Thermo-Weave™ shade mesh and Diamond Weave™ skirting fabric are warranted against material degradation, tearing under normal use, UV breakdown, and manufacturing defects, for the life of the product.
Snap fastener components
All EZ Snap cap-and-pin fastener components (studs, caps, and pins) are covered against mechanical failure. If a snap component breaks during normal attachment or removal, we'll replace it at no charge for the life of the product.
3M™ VHB adhesive bond
Adhesive studs are covered against bond failure when installed on surfaces prepared according to our instructions. Surface prep means cleaning with isopropyl alcohol and allowing 72 hours of cure time before full load.
Included accessories
Primer pens, layout pencils, and snap removal tools are covered against defects in materials and workmanship. These are functional tools, so normal wear from use is expected and not covered.
Improper surface preparation
Adhesive failure caused by inadequate cleaning, applying studs to wet or contaminated surfaces, or not observing the 72-hour cure period. Proper prep is the single most important step, and it takes about 60 seconds per stud.
Intentional damage or misuse
Damage from excessive force, cutting errors, chemical exposure not specified in our instructions, or use in applications not recommended by EZ Snap.
Cosmetic wear
Minor color shifting from prolonged UV exposure is considered normal. These changes do not affect performance and are not covered. Your shades may look slightly different in year five, but they'll work exactly the same.
Catastrophic weather events
Damage from events beyond what the product is built to withstand, including hurricanes, tornadoes, or hail. Our products survive severe conditions, but not catastrophic ones.
Contact our support team by phone or email. We'll ask for your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description of your installation. Most claims are resolved quickly.
We don't require you to ship the defective product back. In most cases, we'll send a replacement directly, including new adhesive studs if the originals need replacing.
