Does it stick to fiberglass / gelcoat?
Yes — the 3M™ VHB adhesive bonds to gelcoat and glass, so there's no drilling into the hull or cabin. The studs are low-profile and stay put; the mesh snaps on and off.
Do I take them off underway?
Yes — snap the mesh off before you get moving and snap it back once you're at the dock or anchor. The adhesive studs remain on the cabin.
Can I see out through it?
Yes. It's a see-through solar-screen mesh, so you keep the outward view from inside the cabin while cutting the heat and glare.
Will it hold up to sun?
The mesh carries a Limited Lifetime warranty against UV breakdown. (We don't make salt-water or corrosion-rating claims — the studs and mesh are adhesive and fabric, not hardware.)
