Covered against original defects.
Our Limited Lifetime Warranty covers genuine EZ Snap shade mesh and RV skirting fabric against original defects in materials and workmanship. It extends to the original purchaser only and is not transferable to later owners. Coverage applies when the shade mesh is installed on a residential dwelling, or the skirting on a personal RV, and the product is cared for according to our instructions. It is based on the product's expected service life, and a prorated replacement of the material may apply if performance declines before the end of that period. Here is exactly what that includes, and the things it does not.
Shade mesh & skirting fabric
Genuine EZ Snap Optical Grade Thermo-Weave shade mesh and Diamond Weave skirting fabric are warranted against original defects in materials and workmanship, for the original purchaser. If a defect appears within the product's expected service life, a prorated replacement of the material may apply.
Expected service life
Shade mesh has a service life of about 10 years in sun-belt states, based on maintaining its shading coefficient. If the mesh does not maintain its shading coefficient for the full 10 years, a prorated replacement may apply. Diamond Weave skirting fabric has a useful life of about 6 to 8 years in harsh winter environments.
Improper installation or care
Failure caused by not following the measurement, installation, cleaning, or maintenance instructions, including inadequate surface preparation for adhesive studs (cleaning with isopropyl alcohol and allowing the full 72-hour cure).
Accidents, alterations, and misuse
Damage from accidents, alterations, excessive force, cutting errors, chemical exposure not specified in our instructions, or use in applications not recommended by EZ Snap.
Normal wear from sun exposure
Normal wear and tear, including color fade, cracking, or delamination from prolonged sun exposure. These changes are expected over the life of the product and are not covered.
Catastrophic weather events
Damage from events beyond what the product is built to withstand, including hurricanes, tornadoes, or hail.
Non-EZ Snap fabric
This warranty applies to genuine EZ Snap fabric only. If you use your own fabric with EZ Snap fasteners, it is not covered. EZ Snap mesh and skirting are dimensionally stable (they do not stretch) and are designed to work with our fasteners, so use only genuine EZ Snap products in your project.

The warranty covers material only. It does not cover shipping, labor, or the cost of measuring, removing, or reinstalling the product. Any replacement will be made with the same or similar material. This warranty is exclusive and is given in place of all other warranties, obligations, or liabilities, whether written or oral. No person is authorized to extend or alter it. EZ Snap has no liability for incidental or consequential damages. Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.
